How to Start in Archery

We run beginners’ courses for all ages from around 10 years and up. All of our courses are run at our club at Durham Ave, Woodford Green IG8 7NH Here

Beginner Trial –If you are an absolute beginner and would like to try out to see if Archery is right for you, you can book a trial session with one of our coaches before booking onto the beginners course. Your coach will then contact you to provide initial guidance prior to you attending. The equipment will be provided by the club and you just turn up to your session, relax and enjoy.

Beginners Courses

We run friendly and relaxed 4 week courses in our indoor range all year round. All equipment is provided for the course.

Private tuition

These must be prearranged and generally run on a Friday evening during shoot from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

Have-a-go days

We can attend local events such as Fete’s and Open Days to provide have-a-go sessions. We will bring all the appropriate equipment and safety netting, we do need to make a safety inspection for the site before the event.

We can also arrange have-a-go sessions at our clubhouse for group activities and other clubs such as sea rangers, cadets and scouts.
